What will happen on my first visit?
Your first visit to our office will include updating your xrays and an
exam with Dr. Wiley. This will allow us to determine what type of
cleaning you will need, as well as diagnosing any work you need done,
so you know what to expect.
Why do I need xrays?
Xrays are an important diagnostic tool. A visual exam does not allow
Dr. Wiley to determine the health of your bones or to see between the
teeth. He relies on xrays for that.
How long has Dr. Wiley been in practice?
Dr. Wiley has been a dentist for over twenty years. He has had his practice
in Ballard for about 15 years.
What age should I first bring my child to visit the dentist?
2 - 3 years old is a great age for your first visit to the dentist.
How much is a cleaning?
We have several different degrees of cleanings. The type of cleaning you
need will depend on how long it's been since you visited the dentist and the
health of your gums. After your initial visit we can quote you a price on the
type of cleaning diagnosed for you. We can also let you know what portion
insurance will cover.
Do you do Root Canals? How about Extractions?
In most cases, we do Root Canals and Extractions right here in the office.
Occasionally, we will need to send you out to see a specialist.
